Explaining what we do and why we do it

Hawkins\Brown was asked by Black Dog publishing to produce a monograph of its first 10 years work. We tried to describe the indescribable - to explain all the things architects do because no-one else sees or cares about them. To try to talk about all the issues that fall between other peoples radar but that make the built world plausible, funny, interesting, surprising or a source of immense inspiration.
Issue
Issue is our award-winning in-house magazine that tries to capture some of the writing, design inspiration, creativity and critical thinking that has taken place in a particular area of our studio.
