| Travel in Time to the City of the Future Date added 01.10.07 by Anna Pamphilon   PublicationThis is the future city everybody.... Well so say the children who participated in a drop-in workshop at the Royal Festival Hall last month. An event orgainsed by the charity Archikids. Archikids is a charity which encourages 7 to 12 year olds to explore architecture in a fun way through games and resources and is an offshoot from the charity Open House. Myself and two other volunteer architects were involved in the workshop, helping the children to think imaginatively about how their future city might look and feel, although I’m not sure they needed much help….. |
